MomGuide+ Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS COVERS
This policy explains what the MomGuide+ app collects from you, how it is used, and who can see it. MomGuide+ is a pregnancy and postpartum companion app that you use together with a participating care practice. In this policy, "MomGuide+", "we" and "us" mean MomGuide+ LLC, a Texas limited liability company.
It covers patients who use the MomGuide+ mobile app, which is currently offered only to patients of participating practices in Texas. Care team staff use a separate provider portal, which is not covered here.
MomGuide+ does not replace emergency care or your care team's advice. If you feel unwell or think something is wrong, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the information you enter into the app and the information needed to run your account.
- Account details: your email address and a password, which is stored in protected form.
- Pregnancy information: your stage (pregnant or postpartum), due date, delivery date, time zone, number of pregnancies (gravida) and births (para), and any medical history you choose to add.
- Health entries you log: blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight, blood glucose checks, symptoms with how severe they feel and whether they are ongoing, check-ins, mood and depression screening answers, and medications.
- Messages between you and your care team.
- Your choices: the consents you give and your notification preferences.
- Care team link: which practice and providers you are connected to.
- Security records: logs of actions on your account, such as sign-ins and changes, used to keep your information safe.
The app does not use advertising or analytics tools.
HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION
We use your information to give your care team a clear picture between visits, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
We use it to:
- show your entries to your care team in their provider portal
- flag entries that match rules your practice has set, so your care team can follow up
- send your care team a notice that an alert needs review (these notices contain no patient details and link to the secure portal)
- run, secure and improve the app, and meet legal requirements
We share it only with:
- the care team and practice staff connected to your account
- companies that help us run the app, such as our hosting provider, under written agreements that require them to protect it
- others when the law requires it, or when you give your permission
We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or use it for targeted advertising.
HEALTH INFORMATION AND YOUR CARE TEAM
Your care team can see everything you log in the app, including your pregnancy history and medical history. We handle that information on behalf of the practice that gives you access to MomGuide+.
Your practice's own Notice of Privacy Practices explains how the practice uses and protects your health information, and how to ask the practice for your records.
The app is not monitored around the clock. Entries you submit are reviewed by your care team during their working hours, so do not rely on the app in an emergency. If you feel unwell, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
SECURITY, KEEPING INFORMATION, AND DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT
We store your information in the United States on Amazon Web Services under a business associate agreement, and we limit who can see it.
- Information is encrypted while it travels between the app and our servers, and while it is stored.
- Access is limited by role and by practice: staff see only the patients of their own practice.
- We keep records of who accessed or changed information.
- No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be exposed.
Keeping your information: we keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to support your care team and meet legal requirements.
Deleting your account: you can ask us to delete your account by emailing info@momguideplus.com, and we will respond promptly. Your practice may need to keep parts of your health record as the law requires, even after your MomGuide+ account is deleted.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can see and change much of your information yourself, and you can contact us about the rest.
- Review and update: you can edit your pregnancy dates and your pregnancy and medical history in the app's Profile.
- Notifications: you can change your notification preferences in the app.
- Withdraw consent or ask questions: email info@momguideplus.com.
- Records: to get a copy of your health record, ask your practice.
- Deletion: see the previous section.
Texas law may also give you rights over your information, such as to know what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will honor the rights Texas law gives you. To use them, email info@momguideplus.com.

MomGuide+ is meant for adults 18 and older.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
